Based out of Austin, Texas Thee Unseen Eye is comprised of guitarists Eve Monsees and Sonny James, Gil T. on bass and Mike Buck on drums.  In addition to headlining their own shows, the band is often asked to back up touring acts like Bluesmen Ironing Board Sam and Litlle Joe Washington and Rockabilly Hall Of Famer Johnny Legend.  Thee Unseen Eye has also been a part of the Blue Monday tradition at Austin's Antone's nightclub.

Eve Monsees grew up in Austin, Texas and quickly befriended neighbor and classmate Gary Clark Jr.  The two took up playing guitar together and spent a good part of their teenage years performing together before starting their own bands.  Eve has shared the stage with Blues greats such as Lazy Lester, Pinetop Perkins and Barbara Lynn.  In addition to Thee Unseen Eye, Eve also plays in Eve & The Exiles and the Bluebonnets.  Along with Mike Buck, she co-owns Antone's Record Shop.

Originally from Ft. Worth, Texas Mike Buck played drums early on with Robert Ealey and the Five Careless Lovers.  He moved to Austin in the 70s and joined Jimmie Vaughan, Kim Wilson and Keith Ferguson in the Fabulous Thunderbirds, playing on the bands' first two records.  In the early 80s he left the Thunderbirds to form the LeRoi Brothers who are still active today.  Mike has toured and recorded with artists ranging from Doug Sahm to Lazy Lester.

Gil T. moved to Austin from East LA after playing with bands such as Top Jimmy & The Rhythm Pigs, Dave Alvin, Mojo Nixon and Candye Kane.  He played and toured extensively with Guy Forsythe for years and is often called upon to play with Austin Bluesmen like Hosea Hargrove and W.C. Clark.  Gil also played on the self titled Grammy award winning Los Super Seven release.

In addition to playing with Texas legends like Little Joe Washington and Joe "Guitar" Hughes Sonny James fronted Sonny & The Sinners for years.  This led Sonny from Houston, Texas to Amsterdam and back again.  Always entertaining on stage, Sonny's soulful singing and wild guitar antics bring out the best in the band.
