English guitarist Steve Williams has played all over the United Kingdom and many parts of the middle east. He has visited New York both as a soloist and as a sidesman. He is the first one to admit that he has been particularly fortunate in the number of veterans he has played and learned from including Honey Boy Edwards, Skip James and Neal Pattman, while his “The Blues Deluxe Band” has opened for Albert King, Albert King, Buddy Guy and Peter Green. Steve also produced two acclaimed albums recorded with Blues Deluxe.
In recent years Steve has established his Vikings Sound as one of the UK’s leading sound, light and staging companies supplying major artists including Sting, George Benson and many festivals.
He appeared at Blues to Bop years ago and returns with “The New York All Stars” which includes Dave Keyes (who he met in Lugano), Neal Harland on bass and Paul Smith on drums: their featured solist is Elliott Randall ex Steely Dan.

Neal Harland plays many styles and is a very busy recording artist. He accompanies the Northumbrian pipe player Katherine Tickell in concert and is often with Sting when the latter returns to Newcastle, his home town.

Big band swing and jazz drummer Paul Smith is also an in-demand session man with a client list that includes Sting, The Bee Gees, Jimmy Nail, Prefab Sprout and the late blues great Jimmy Witherspoon. He has recorded with artists such as Alan Hull from Lindisfarne, Mickey Moody and Paddy Mcaloon and even with crooners like Matt Monroe.
