The Acoustic Blues Session duo draws inspiration from the Classic Country Blues tradition and from contemporary acoustic blues sounds producing a mix that includes compostions from Robert Johnson and Ben Harper as well as Eric Clapton and Keb’ Mo. Icaro, who has a warm, expressive voice, ideally suited to this type of music, has found an ideal companion in Frank Salis on the guitar. Frank is a young local musician who needs no introduction in Ticino thanks to his many years with Bat Battiston. Icaro and Salis have developed an intimate acoustic style, ideally suited to the smaller Blues to Bop stages where they are sure to surprise many with their fresh take and songs that have become classics.
